Brian Alexander Stalnaker

October 23, 2018 Mr. Brian Alexander Stalnaker, age 80, husband of Jan Baldwin Stalnaker of 272 Center Rd., Union, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at his home. Mr. Stalnaker was born August 21, 1938 in Lockhart, a son of the late Horace Stalnaker and Ruth Grant Stalnaker. He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and was retired from Southern Bell Phone Company. Mr. Stalnaker was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was an active member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Stalnaker was a member of Lockhart Masonic Lodge 244 and was a Shriner. He was a loving husband, father, and Pop-Pop. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Beth Stalnaker Wentz and husband Pat of Pea Ridge; a son, Brent A. Stalnaker and girlfriend, Bethany Christianson of Spartanburg; two sisters, Barbara Sue Revis of Union and Hilda Jo Hefner and husband Buster of Union; an uncle, Richard A. "Dick" Stalnaker of Union; five grandchildren, Emily Martin and husband Korry, Erin O'Dell, Emerson O'Dell, Bobby Wentz, and Les Wentz; one great-granddaughter, Dahlia Martin; and two beloved pet dogs, Rico and Molly. Memorial services with Masonic Rites will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Richard Lewis and Rev. Merritt Wentz. Visitation will be immediately following the services.
