Mr. Brian D. Wishert, age 49, of 139 Lukesville Rd., Buffalo, passed away suddenly, Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Mr. Wishert was born February 2, 1976, in Union, SC, a son of Dean Wishert of Chester and the late Sandra Grady Ivey. He was a graduate of Union High School and worked at Allied Industries in Jonesville. Mr. Wishert loved animals, especially Milo his Grandcat, loved all sports but really enjoyed NASCAR racing.
Surviving in addition to his father, is his stepmother, Donna Wishert, a daughter, Emily Thompson and her husband, Dudley of Union, a son, James Taylor Wishert and Savanna of Union, sisters, Deanne Wishert of Whitmire and Jana Dew of Rock Hill, a brother, Dean Wishert, Jr. of Union, a grandson, Rowan Kelley, his grandmother, Sally Epps and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Mr. Wishert was predeceased by a son, Brian Wishert, Jr., and his stepfather, Johnny Ivey, who was an extremely important influence in his life.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel, conducted by Prophetess Evalee Thompson. Burial will follow int the Brown’s Creek Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends and family, Wednesday evening November 19, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel.
Active pallbearers will be Travis Cooper, Lee Cooper, Chad Smith, Gavin Kelley, Denzel Thompson, Dean Wishert, Jr., Josh Smith and Gregg Vinson. His workmates and friends from Allied Industries are asked to sit as a group as honorary pallbearers.
The family is at 305 Toney Road, Union, SC.
