Broadus Lamar Wilburn

Mr. Broadus Lamar Wilburn, age 80, husband of Linda Carol Revis Wilburn of 125 Pasture Dr., Union, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Wilburn was born in Union, August 3, 1939, a son of the late Clarence Lamar Wilburn and Grace Brannon Wilburn. He retired from Milliken and Co., Gillespie Plant and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Wilburn was a former coach with Dixie Girls Softball. He loved softball, go-kart racing and coon hunting. He also enjoyed sitting on the couch and eating snack with his great-grandson, Landon.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Broadus Lamar "Junior" Wilburn and wife Tina of the home; two brothers, William Victor Wilburn and Walter Jerry Wilburn both of Union; two sisters, Clemmie Gentry and husband David and Reba House and husband Ray all of Union; two grandson, Kevin Lamar Wilburn and Tyler Neil Wilburn; a great-grandson, Landon Rivers and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mr. Wilburn was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Wayne Wilburn.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 24, 2020 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Shannon Faulkner.  Visitation will be held at the cemetery immediately following the service.

The family will be at the home, 125 Pasture Dr., Union.
