Bruce Davis

Mr. Bruce Davis, age 71, husband of Bonnie Austin Davis of 296 Meansville Rd., Apt G4, Brittany Manor , Union SC, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. Mr Davis was born in Union, SC June 17, 1942, a son of the late Jessie Ben Davis and Ozella Boling Davis. He was a retired textile worker and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Mr. Davis had served with the SC National Guard. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters: Crystal Clark and husband Brad of Woodruff, April Hogan and husband Buddy of Union and Lisa Vinson and husband David of Buffalo; a son, Randy Davis and wife Debbie of Buffalo; a sister, Brenda Liner and husband Grady of Jonesville; two brothers: Bobby Joe Davis and wife Donna and Harold Dean Davis and wife Faye all of Union; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Davis was predeceased by a daughter, Beverly Denice Davis, a son, Christopher Todd Austin, a sister, Sandra O'Shields and a brother, Darrel Davis. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Union Memorial Gardens conduced by Rev. Dr. Aubrey Calvert. Mr. Davis's grandsons and nephew, T.J. Gault will serve as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 112 Bates Avenue, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, Brittany Manor Apts, 296 Meansville Rd., Apt G4, Union.
