Bruce H. Wright

Mr. Bruce H. Wright, age 83, husband of Teresa O'dell Wright of 133 Academy St., Jonesville, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Wright was born in Buffalo, March 5, 1941, a son of the late Edgar T. Wright and Lois Haney Wright. He was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Rosemont Plant in Jonesville. Mr. Wright was a handyman and a big asset to the T and L Diner over the years. He loved to work with his hands and do carpentry work. He enjoyed spending time with his family and extended family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Wright was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife Teresa are two daughters, Jennifer Kimbrell (Richie Chesnut) and Jan Ivey and husband Jamie all of Union; two sisters, Claudette Brewington and Joyce Newton both of Buffalo; and a brother, Brent Wright and wife Jean of Union. He is also survived by two grandsons, Cade Kimbrell and wife Casey and Cam Kimbrell and wife Chelsey; three great-grandchildren, Skylyn Kimbrell, Christian Kimbrell and Caden Kimbrell and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Amia Wade. Mr. Wright was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Bruce Wright, a sister, Shirley W. Robinson and two brothers, Jerry Wright and Ronald Lee Wright.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2024 at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Ralph Brown and Rev. Scott Cannon.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday evening at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville.

Active pallbearers will be Jamie Ivey, Ray Cleveland, Cam Kimbrell, Cade Kimbrell, Todd Johnson and Tommy Wade.

The family will be at the home, 133 Academy St., Jonesville.
