Bryan Keith Davis

Mr. Bryan Keith Davis, age 58, of 307 Partridge Rd., Union, widower of Kelly Parkins Davis, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mr. Davis was born in Union, August 19, 1963, a son of the late Harold Dean Davis and Alice Faye Harris Davis. He was a graduate of Union High School, Charlotte Diesel Driving School and had studied art at Virginia Commonwealth College. A founding member of the Artist Collective in Spartanburg, Mr. Davis was a very talented artist, primarily known for his woven clay baskets.

Mr. Davis was a veteran of the US Army having served with Co. A, 87th Infantry of the 10th Mountain Division. He was a Junior Deacon mason and active member of the Spartan Lodge #70. He was currently employed as a driver with Belue's Trucking and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Salem Davis and Heather Abernathy both of Union; a sister, Stacy D. Hartley and husband Eric of Union; four nieces, Skylar Hartley, Lindsey Inabinet, Amber Hartley and Madyson Chadwick and five great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two special aunts, Linda Littlejohn of Buffalo and Brenda Lanier of Union and a special uncle, Bobby Davis, Sr. of Union. Mr. Davis was predeceased by infant twin brothers, Ronald and Donald Davis, his maternal grandparents, Alice Holden Harris and Gene Carroll Harris, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Jesse and Ozella Bowling Davis.

A visitation to celebrate his life will be held Friday, October 29, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel with Masonic Rites.

The family will be at the home, 307 Partridge Rd., Union.
