Buena Alexander Crumley

Mrs. Buena Alexander Crumley, age 74, wife of Charles R. Crumley, Sr., of 315 Old US Hwy 176, Whitmire, passed away, Sunday, April 3, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Crumley was born March 10, 1948, in Newberry, a daughter of the late Smith E. Alexander and Ada Garland Alexander Harley and husband Joe.  She was a Charter Member of God's Healing Springs Baptist Church.  Mrs. Crumley was the last surviving member of her siblings.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 58 years are two sons, Charles R. Crumley, Jr. and wife Amy of Bush River and David Crumley and wife Lea Almon of Pomaria; three daughters, Beth Cudd of Union, Kathy Knox and husband James of Union and Janice Crumley of Union; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by one son-in-law, Tommy Cudd; sisters, Eugenia Bayne and Marlis Tingle; and three brothers, Vernon Alexander, Smith E. Alexander, Jr., and Gordon Alexander.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at God's Healing Springs Baptist Church conducted by Pastors Wayne and Jimmy Tobias.  Burial will follow at Whitmire Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Caleb Cudd, Nathan Cudd, Nicholas Crumley, Chandler Crumley, AJ Knox, Christopher Knox, and Jim Allen.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the services at the Church.
