Caeli Lea Ann Ratcliffe

Miss Caeli Lea Ann Ratcliffe, 6 year-old daughter of John Daniel Ratcliffe and Carlene Julie Ann Clark Ratcliffe, of 207 Second Ave., Union, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at her home.

Caeli was a kindergarten student at Foster Park Elementary School. She was an energetic  and bright child who was enjoying her first year of school. She loved her Daddy and Mama and was never far away from her dog and side-kick, Butter.

Surviving in addition to her parents are two brothers, Carson Blackwood of Union and Daniel Hayes of Sharon; her paternal grandmothers, Barbara "Granny" Newton and Janet "E-Paw" McCoy of the home; her paternal grandfather, John Patrick Ratcliffe of York; her maternal grandmother, Laura Eagleston and maternal grandfather, Rick Shultz both of Delaware, OH; her paternal great-grandmother, Emma Mae McCoy of Union and her God-parents, Cedric Green and Yakima Jeter.

Caeli was also survived by numerous aunts and uncles including, Crystal Johnson Arenas and husband David, Mark Newton and Kimberly Collins, Joyce "Aunt Juice" Strain and husband Marvin, Kathy Woods and husband Michael and Victoria Johnson.  Cousins include, Jessica Driggers, Copper "Popper" Strain, Levi Strain, David Theodore "Theo" Arenas, Amber Newton, Shawna Brown and Darya Chavez. Caeli was predeceased by her paternal great-grandparents Charles Newton, Dorothy Mayne and Scott Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Marvin Strain, Christopher Mayne, Cedric Green, Michael Woods David Arenas and Mark Newton.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
