Carey Murray Mckinney, Jr

August 7, 2017 Mr. Carey Murray McKinney, Jr, age 48, husband of Laura Lakhansingh McKinney of 452 Beltline Rd., Union, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at Regional Hospice Home. Mr. McKinney was borfn in Eufaula, AL December 7, 1968, a son of Mary Dene Jones Cohen of Buffalo. He received his Bachlor of Science while livening in Texas and was formerly employed with Beach Electric Quopgue in NY where he was a Master Electrician. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Mr. McKinney was a Veteran of the US Navy having served during Desert Storm. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a daughter, Raquel McKinney of Buffalo; two sons: Kavesh Roopnarine and Joshua Dean McKinney both of the home: a sister, Mary "Libby" Robinson and husband Russell of Leesburg, GA; a granddaughter, LaKeirra Kershaw of Buffalo; a niece, Elizabeth Moore and a nephew, Jeremy Robinson. A celebration of life gathering will be held 6:00 PM Friday, August 11, 2017 at the home of his mother, Mary Cohen, 3107 Buffalo West Springs Hwy, Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
