Cathy Todd Brewington

Mrs. Cathy Todd Brewington, age 72, wife of Thomas Brewington, of 129 Buffalo St., Buffalo, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Brewington was born June 22, 1950 in Union, a daughter of the late Donnie James Todd and Inez Todd.  She was a retired textile worker and a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle of God.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Donnie Wayne Sumner of Union and Terry Nathaniel Sumner of Buffalo; three brothers, Arnold Fleming of Pauline, James Todd of Buffalo, and Donnie Todd and wife Amy of Buffalo; two sisters, Nancey Shiver of Santuc and Mona Faye Nobles of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Tyler Sumner and wife Victoria, Ashley Sumner, Emiley Sumner, William Sumner, Chase Knox, Bridget Sumner, Daisy Sumner, and Inez Sumner; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ricky Cook and Mr. Donnie Sumner.  Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the cemetery.
