Cecil G. "Butch" Smith

Mr. Cecil Gerald "Butch" Smith, age 70, of 3253 Whitmire Hwy., Union, husband of Linda Bennett Smith passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mr. Smith was born in Union, March 14, 1952 a son of the late Cecil and Della Faye Lovings Smith.  He worked as an automobile technician until he retired.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Teresa Smith of Union, and Angie Carlsen of Illinois; three sons Todd Bennett, Michael Smith and Vance Smith all of Union; a sister, Barbara Spencer of Lancaster; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by a brother Johnny Smith.

Private services will be held by the family.
