Chadwick Shane Lawson

Mr. Chadwick Shane Lawson, age 56 of Buffalo, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Shane was born in Union, February 9, 1968, a son of the late John David and Geraldine Hughes Lawson. He was a 1986 graduate of Union High School and a member of Putman Baptist Church. Shane was a man filled with compassion for others and always ready to share a laugh. He was a kind and loving father and brother.

Surviving are a daughter, Kendra Lawson of Union; a son, Zack Lawson and wife Alexa of Roebuck; a sister, Paulette Ivey and husband Mike; a brother, William Lawson all of Buffalo, and three grandchildren, Trey Fowler, Kahlan Walker and Cam Rogers. He was predeceased by a sister, Debra Jane West.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Eddie Bowen. Burial will follow at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the chapel prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Scott Johnson, Gabe Johnson, Chris Nance, Will Nance, Christian Steele and Cody Greer.

The family will be at their respective homes.
