Charles “Tony” Anthony Owen

Charles Anthony "Tony" Owen,  of 1158 Lakeside Drive, Union, South Carolina, died at 124 Fant Lane under the love and care of Kendreal Owen, Wendy Owen, Harriet Cohen and Donnie Howell on August 16, 2024. Born on May 28, 1959, in Union, SC, to the late Richard A. Owen Sr. and Barbara West Owen, he was 65.

Tony is survived by a son, Lee Owen (Jessica) of Spartanburg, a step-son Josh Hall of Union, a granddaughter, Natalya Owen of Spartanburg, three step grandchildren, Jack Kerr of Spartanburg, Damien Hall of Union, and Lexie Hall, of Landrum, a step-great grandchild Charles Ace Williford of Landrum, nephews Tripp Owen of Spartanburg, Dru Owen (Taylor) of Jonesville, and David Scott(Kelly) of Prosperity SC, Chase Scarborough of Union, sisters-in-law, Wendy Barber Owen of Union, and Roxanne Scarborough of Union, nieces Tabbie Owen of Union and Cassie Swygert (Noah) of Columbia, great nephews Blaze and Dash Goode, of Lockhart, Vance Owen of Spartanburg, and Ty Owen; a great niece  Aura Swygert as well as extended family including numerous cousins, primarily of Union, and including those in North Carolina and Florida and Maryland.

Tony is also survived by the  love of his life, his primary caregiver, cook, former wife and closest friend, Kendreal Hall Owen of Union.

Tony was predeceased by a son, Charles II,  his three brothers, "Little Rick" Owen, Darrell Owen, and Benji Owen, all of Union, as well as his Aunt Betsy Trakas of Union, and great nephew RA "Drue" Owen IV, of Somerville.
