Charles Edward Lapierre, Jr.

Mr. Charles Edward LaPierre, Jr., age 75, loving husband of Kathleen "Kay" Stewart LaPierre of 259 Gin Circle, Buffalo, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, February 12, 2024.

Mr. LaPierre was born in New London, CT, August 2, 1948, a son of the late Charles Edward LaPierre, Sr. and Helen Brown LaPierre. He was a retired mechanic at Feldspar and a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years, Kay, are a son, Greg LaPierre of Buffalo; daughter, Priscilla Martin and husband Paul of Pauline; two sisters, Judy Cannon of Union and Midge Knowlton of Cromwell, CT. He is also survived by grandchildren, Ashley Caviness and husband Joshua of Bolivar, MO, JR LaPierre of Buffalo, Kaleigh Cardoza and husband Ricky of Middletown, CT, and Katherine Martin of Pauline; a great-grandson, Jeremiah Caviness; and many special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Charles Edward LaPierre, III.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 16, 2024 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Doug Estes. Visitation will be held from Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be JR LaPierre, Paul Martin, Ricky Cardoza, Gage Williams, Bobby Pollander, and Greg LaPierre. Bobby Dickens will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buffalo Baptist Church, PO Box 428, Buffalo, SC 29321.

The family will be at the home, 259 Gin Circle, Buffalo.
