Charles E. Lee

May 24, 2015 Mr. Charles Edward Lee, age 76, husband of Sally Parker Lee passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at his home. Mr. Lee was born in Miami FL., on June 12, 1938, a son of the late Jesse William Lee and Dorothy Reid Lee. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Padgett's Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Lee earned a master's degree from Florida International University and worked as a supervisor for Bellsouth. Surviving in addition to his wife, Sally are a daughter: Jennifer Szewczak and husband John of Columbia; three grandsons: John Matthew Szewczak of Charlotte, Zachary Robert Szewczak, Joshua Lee Szewczak both of Columbia; a granddaughter: Rachel Ann Szewczak of Columbia; one great-grandson: John Finnlee Szewczak of Columbia; two nephews: Richard Harry Cameron of GA. and Howard Raymond Cameron of FL. Mr. Lee was predeceased by three brothers: Bobby Ray Cameron, Harry Richard Cameron and Raymond Lee Cameron. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Padgett's Creek Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Carrol Caldwell and Rev. Ronnie Lee Wallace. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors. Active Pallbearers will be John Robert Szewczak, John Matthew Szewczak, Zachary Robert Szewczak and Joshua Lee Szewczak. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services in the church. The family is at the home.
