Charles W. Lee, Sr.

December 22, 2016 Mr. Charles W. Lee, Sr., age 70 of 3439 Buffalo West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, widow of Darlene Brown Lee passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at his home. Mr. Lee was born in Union, SC on March 27, 1946 a son of the late Woodrow Lee and Ida Virginia Whitmire Lee. He was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are, one daughter, Vicki Toney and husband Rolph of Buffalo; five sons, Charles W. Lee, Jr. and wife Dovie, Michael A. Lee and wife Phyllis, Adam Christopher Lee, Clint E. Lee and wife Brooke, and Preston Jay Lee and fiancée Kauai all of Buffalo; a special friend, Brenda Lee of the home; two sisters, Susan Puckett and husband Eddie and Mary Lee Strong both of Spartanburg; three brothers, Johnny Lee of Laurens, Harley Lee of Buffalo, and Ray Lee and wife Carolyn of Buffalo; twenty eight grandchildren; and twenty nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one daughter Rosemary Lee Wix and grandchild baby Lee. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Monday, December 26, 2016 at Whitmire Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Timothy Bowers. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, C/O Beth Lancaster, 800 S.
