Charles E. Robinson

June 22, 2019 Mr. Charles Edward "Cordwood" Robinson, age 65, husband of Debra Bledsoe Robinson of 212 Buffalo St., Buffalo, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at his home. Mr. Robinson was born in Union, November 15, 1953, a son of the late Edward and Julie Smith Robinson. He was retired from Dollar General Distribution and was formerly employed with United Merchants, Buffalo Plant. Mr. Robinson enjoyed go-cart racing, classic cars and repairing engines. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and the Duncan Masonic Lodge #256. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Erica R. Palmer and husband Christopher; a son, Jesse Robinson and wife Leah all of Union; two sisters, Brenda Boyter and husband Mike of Spartanburg and Glenda Sutton and husband Blane of Fairplay; three grandchildren, Lexi Robinson, Caylee Palmer and Jaxon Robinson. Mr. Robinson was predeceased by a son, Chad Everette Robinson. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the services. Memorials may be made to Halcyon Hospice, 300 E. Henry St., Suite A, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff and nurses for their care and compassion during Mr. Robinson's illness. The family will be at the home, 212 Buffalo St., Buffalo.
