Charles Lee Thomason

November 29 ,2017 Mr. Charles Lee Thomason, age 44, husband of Heather Marie Sthal Thomason, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. Mr. Thomason was born in Waynesville, NC, October 18, 1973, a son of Charles Lynnwood Thomason and Marshall Messer Thomason of the home. He was a graduate of Union High School and was formerly employed in the textile industry. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two daughters, Alyssa Thomason and Savannah Thomason, both of the home; a sister, Amanda Thomason of Adamsburg; two nieces, Shelby Gibson and Shyann Gibson both of Adamsburg and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Thomason was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Charlie and Edith Messer and his paternal grandparents, Wallace and Ada Elizabeth Thomason. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Sam Baine. Burial will be at Lockhart Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Rusty Thomason, Luke Thomason, Kelly Thomason, Jamie Nabors, Ronnie Thomason, Roger Thomason and Jamie Gibson. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to the Charles Lee Thomason Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home 5156 Cabal Rd., Sharon, SC 29742.
