Charles David Tollison, Jr.

Mr. Charles David "Tolly" Tollison, Jr., age 48 of Peach Orchard Rd., Union, passed away Monday at his home.

Mr. Tollison was born in Greenville, November 4, 1972, a son of the late Charles David Tollison, Sr. and Thesis Ivey Tollison. He was a 1990 graduate of Union Academy and was owner/operator of Tollison Transportation, LLC. David always had a love for animals and was an avid Clemson fan.

He is survived by his sister, Julie Tollison of Buffalo; two nieces, Ivey Gregory of Union and Nan Kilpatrick and husband Austin of Inman; a nephew, Charles Marion Gregory of Buffalo; a "daughter of the heart", Taylor Sumner of Jonesville; and aunts and uncles including a special aunt, Nancy Stepp of Union. David is also survived by his very important fur babies and many loving friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Steven McAbee. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the chapel.

Due to the current health concerns, COVID protocols for social distancing and wearing masks are to be followed.
