Charley E. Hendrix

Mr. Charley Everette Hendrix, age 95, of Pinewood Acres Rd., Union, widower of Mary Kuykendall Hendrix, passed away, Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Hendrix was born in Belgrade, MO, one of fourteen children. He was a retired self-employed truck driver and was a veteran of the US Army.

Surviving are five granddaughters, Mary Knox and husband Steve of Union, Karen Price and husband Derick of Buffalo, Denise Lockwood and husband James of Texas, Debbie Sigmon and husband Mark, and Kristi Stegall all of Valdosta, GA; two grandson, Chuck Rooth and wife Stephanie of Texas, and Jeff Rooth and wife Carolyn of Greer; numerous great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two daughters, Barbara Rooth and Maxine Stegall.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2023 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Terry Candler. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
