Christopher Jason Erwin

August 29, 2017 Mr. Christopher Jason Erwin, age 39, husband of Jessica Good Erwin of 528 Bailey Elizabeth Way, Inman, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017. Mr. Erwin was born June 2, 1978 in Union, SC a son of Billy Wayne Erwin of Pacolet. He was a graduate of Union High School and was previously employed with Grease Monkey in Spartanburg. Mr. Erwin enjoyed fishing and family trips to the beach. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband and father. Surviving in addition to his wife and father are a stepmother, Deborah Erwin of Gaffney; one daughter, Jaylynn Erwin; two sons, Tristan Erwin and Zeppelin Erwin all of the home; two sisters, Wendy Thompson and husband Robby and Erica Erwin all of Gaffney; his in-laws, Johnnie and Chrystal Hendricks of Greenville; two nieces, Jaylah and Aubree Rice; one nephew, Elijah Byrd; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins, including a close cousin Brandon Lankford. Mr. Erwin was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Willie and Doris Erwin. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Forest Lawn Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Wayne Cooke. Visitation will be held 7:00 until 9:00 PM Wednesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Christopher Jason Erwin Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379.
