Christos John Bardis

October 12, 2019 Mr. Christos John Bardis, age 75, husband of Amanda Carla Bardis of 124 Wingfield Dr., Union, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Bardis was born in Spetses, Greece, April 3, 1944 a son of the late Demitri and Panayiota Karafotia Bardis. He retired in the restaurant business having operated Heart's Drive-In for a number of years. Mr. Bardis served in the Greek Navy and was of the Greek Orthodox faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Dianna Bardis of Spartanburg; a son, Nick Bardis of Union; a brother, Demitri Bardis of Union. He was predeceased by a son, John Bardis. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Spartanburg conducted by Father Tom Pistolis. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening, October 15, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
