Claude D. Roberson, Jr.

Mr. Claude Davis Roberson, Jr., age 76, of Forest St., Jonesville, widower of Barbara Ann Tucker Roberson, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at White Oak Estates in Spartanburg.

Mr. Roberson was born in Jonesville, January 10, 1947, a son of the late Claude Davis Roberson, Sr. and Mammie Louise Millwood Roberson. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and received an Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance from Spartanburg Technical College. Mr. Roberson retired from Kohler after 48 years. He was a member of Oakbrook Community Church where he served as a Trustee and was a member of the Prudence Masonic Lodge #139.

Surviving are a son, John Michael "Mike" Roberson and wife Kristie of Jonesville; two granddaughters, Graceanna and Maggie Roberson; a sister, Peggy Hancock of Jonesville and a brother, James Roberson and wife Darlene of Pacolet.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to caregivers, Danial Sherbert and Heather Varner for their care given to Mr. Roberson.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Gilead Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville.

The family will be at the home of his son, Mike and Kristy Roberson, 436 Pacolet St., (Hwy 18), Jonesville, SC 29353.
