Claudia Grady Carroll

Mrs. Claudia Grady Carroll, age 73, of 296 Meansville Rd., Union, widow of Coleman L. Carroll, passed away, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Carroll was born in Lockhart, May 26, 1949, a daughter of the late Inez Grady.  She was retired from Ace Sweater and was member of Lakeside Baptist Church.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.  Mrs. Carroll was first married to the late Douglas L. Howell, Sr.

Surviving are a daughter, Paula Howell Grady and husband Cole; a son, Steven D. Howell; a sister, Brenda Beheler all of Union; three brothers, Wayne Grady and wife Mary Ann of Lockhart, Steve Grady of Union and Gene Holcombe and wife Willie of Union; six grandchildren including a special granddaughter, Courtney Bradburn; a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special friend, Sandra West of Union. She was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce Moody and Frances Lawson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Lakeside Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Scott Cobb.

Active pallbearers will be Shane Arthur, Nick Dimauro, Shane Grady, and Jimmy Beheler.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
