Clemmie Smith Vinson

Mrs. Clemmie Jeanette Smith Vinson, age 82, of 114 Third St., Union, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Vinson was born in Union, April 19, 1938, a daughter of the late Leroy David "Buck" Smith and Georgia Mae Enlow Smith. She was a retired textile worker and attended Full Gospel Tabernacle of God Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Wanda Vinson, Gail Vinson and Chris "Bo" Gregory all of Buffalo and Delores Barber of Waterloo; a brother, Calvin Smith of Lake Murray; eight grandchildren including a granddaughter, Felicia Howard of the home who was her caregiver; fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Vinson was predeceased by a son, David T. Vinson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Ricky Cook. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the services.

Active pallbearers will be Brad Barber, Shawn Kemp, Billy Edgins, Blake McMillan, James Spencer and Dustin Bramlett.

The family will be at the home, 114 Third St., Union.
