January 21, 2020 Mrs. Clydie Mae Lindler, age 82, of 402 Culp Court, Union, widow of Jimmy Olin Lindler, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Lindler was born January 9, 1938 in Rossville, GA, a daughter of the late Ivey Lacey Callie and Oleta Haswell. She retired as a CNA from Wallace Thomson Hospital after 37 years. Mrs. Lindler was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Gallman and husband Rodney and Tammy Stanford all of Union; two sisters, Janice Peterson and Charlsie Locket; six grandchildren, Amber G. Kenney and husband John, Jeremy R. Gallman and wife Amanda, Erin G. Robinson and husband Larry, Keri S. Adams and husband Jason, Jake Stanford and Sean Stanford; and ten great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Cara, and Patrick Kenney, Norah and Joseph Gallman, Kason Adams, David Stanford, Ansli Stanford, Kenzie Stanford, and Kaleigh Stanford. She was predeceased by an infant son, Christopher Joel Lindler, twin daughters, Sherrie and Terrie Lindler, and a grandson, Nicholas O'Neal Stanford. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Pastor Maria Miller. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Jake Stanford, Sean Stanford, Jeremy Gallman, John Kenney, Larry Robinson, and Jason Adams. Mrs. Lindler's former co-workers from Wallace Thomson Hospital are asked to sit in a group and form the honorary escort. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Augsburg Lutheran Church, 151 Connector Road, Union, SC 29379.
