Coleman Carroll

November 6, 2018 Mr. Coleman Carroll, age 79, husband of Claudia Grady Carroll, of 1437 Peach Orchard Rd., Union, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Carroll was born August 2, 1939 in Kings Mountain, NC a son of the late Jeff Carroll and Carrie Navey Carroll. He was retired from Ace Sweater Mills where he was a Supervisor. Mr. Carroll was the owner of C&C Pool Service. He was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Sheila Bryant Grady and husband Lewis and Paula Howell McKain all of Union; two sons, Todd Griffith and wife Debbie of Pinellas, Fl and Steven Howell and wife Jennifer of Union; a sister, Rebecca Davis and husband Larry of Buffalo; three brothers, Frank Carroll of Bessemer City, NC, Tom Carroll and wife Sandra of Cowpens, and Steven Carroll and wife JoAnn of Spartanburg; a special great-granddaughter, Chrystabella Carroll of the home; thirteen grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, Larry Dale Carroll; two brothers, Dennis Carroll and Mike Carroll; and two sisters, Ethel Hammett and Doris Rebenacker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Covenant Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Ricky Cook. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Michael Bryant, Steven Howell, Jonathon McAbee, R.D. Williams, Shane Arthur, and Jerry Grady. Honorary pallbearers will be Vic Dawkins, Harold Dean Keisler, and Gene Dawkins. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home of this daughter, Shelia Grady, 324 Terry Dr., Union, SC 29379
