Corrie B. Vaughan

September 8, 2016 Mrs. Corrie Brewington Vaughan, age 87, of 126 Fairforest Heights, Buffalo, widow of Harold L. Vaughan passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Vaughan was born in Cross Keys, SC, May 22, 1929, a daughter of the late James Bilbey Brewington and Amy Comer Brewinton. She was retired from Wallace Thomson Hospital and was a member of West Springs Baptist Church where she was active in the Sunday School Department. Surviving are five daughters, Pam Faucett and husband Tracey, and Polly Champion all of Union, Tammy Riley and husband Mike and Gail Hyatt of Jonesville and Mary Rawl of Buffalo; a brother, Lee Brewington of Union, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Vaughan was predeceased by a son, Clarence Champion. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, September 9, 2016 at West Springs Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Greg Black and Rev. Henry Johnson. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the graveside. Memorials may be made to West Springs Baptist Church, 4811 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Pauline, SC 29374. The family will be at their respective homes.
