Mrs. Cynthia Comer Smith, age 64 of 2034 Jonesville Hwy., Union, passed away suddenly Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Wallace Thomson Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born in Union, August 1, 1950 a daughter of the late Bill and Lucille Stepp Comer. She was a 1968 graduate of Union High School and attended Philippi Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Tiffany Smith of the home and Amber Humphries Bobo and husband Tony of Columbia; two brothers, Donald Comer, and Wayne Comer and wife Linda all of Union; and two grandsons, Craig Dearnaley and Aaron Dearnaley both of Vancouver, WA. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the services. The following are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers, David Comer, Donald Wayne Comer, Brandon Comer, Tony Bobo and Halon Duckett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Philippi Baptist Church, 327 Philippi Church Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home, 2034 Jonesville Hwy., Union.
