Daisy M. Gregory

Mrs. Daisy M. Gregory, age 92, wife of Ralph Gregory of 143 Toney Rd., Union, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Union Medical Center. Mrs. Gregory was born in North Carolina September 15, 1923, a daughter of the late Paul Vernon Murphy and Ida Elizabeth Rogers Murphy. She retired from Milliken & Company-Monarch Plant and was a member of Ottaray Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters: Brenda Little and husband Roy of Jonesville, Judy Griffin and Sara Smith and husband Lecil; a son, Randall Gregory and wife Darlene all of Union; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gregory was predeceased by a daughter, Libby Davis. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Stanley Tipton. Burial will be in Jonesville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Chad Cameron, Jason Cameron and Michael Smith. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 143 Toney Rd., Union.
