Dameon Shane Lawson

Dameon Shane Lawson, age 18 of 3822 Hwy. 11 West, Chesnee, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Dameon was born in Union, June 22, 2002, a son of Melanie Weigant Wolf and husband Nathan Wolf of the home and Richard Shane Lawson and friend Bernadett of Union. Dameon attended Union Co. High School and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. He was employed with Ingles in Inman. He enjoyed skating, roller blading and mini-truckin. Dameon loved working on cars, hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his mother and father are a sister, Emma Lawson of the home; a brother, Alan Lawson of Union; his paternal grandmother, Nancy T. Lawson of Union; his maternal step-grandfather, Robert Ele of Oregon; four nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Donna Ele and Mark Weigant and by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Lawson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Andrew Austin. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Sunday at the church prior to the services.
