Daniel Lee Mcglocklin

Mr. Daniel Lee "Danny" McGlocklin, age 76, husband of Claudette Wright Brewington of 1049 Main St., Buffalo, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at his home. Mr. McGlocklin was born in Spartanburg, May 16, 1943, a son of the late Preston McGlocklin and Agnes Evans McGlocklin Griffith. He retired as building inspector for Bell Telephone (US West) and had later worked in maintenance in the textile industry after moving to Union. Mr. McGlocklin was a veteran of the US Air Force and was a Shriner. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Lisa Howell and husband Joe of Rossville, GA; three sons, Randy McGlocklin and wife Cristy of Happy Valley, MN, John McGlocklin of Minneapolis, MN and James McGlocklin of Duluth, MN; two sisters, Carol M. Johnson and husband Michael of Buffalo and Emily "Priss" Griffith of Sedelia; two brothers, Bobby Griffith and wife Mary of Boiling Springs and Marion Griffith and wife Judy of Covington, VA; and two step-daughters, Jill West and husband Karl of Albuquerque, NM and Jodi Clapp and husband Jason of Union. Mr. McGlocklin was also survived by grandchildren, Jake McGlocklin, Jesse Jones, Sara Duncan, Kristen Henderson, Ara Irish and Marissa Tores and he was known as Papa Dan to eight great-grandchildren. A celebration to his life will be held at a later date in Glade Spring, Virginia. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 421 S.E. Main St., Ste. 100. Simpsonville, SC 29681.
