Danny E. Holt

Mr. Danny Eugene Holt, age 73, husband of Karen Gardin Holt of 429 Pacolet St., Jonesville, passed away Sunday morning, July 18, 2021 at his home. Mr. Holt was born in Union, December 10, 1947, a son of the late Jesse Brady Holt and Mary Atkinson Holt. He was a 1968 graduate of Jonesville High School and retired from Freeman Gas. Mr. Holt formerly worked at Timken Products. He was a member of Gilead Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Tonya Holt Ingle of Jonesville; a son, James Brady Holt and wife Kimberly of Jonesville; a sister, Jerri Ann Holt Palmer and husband Sid of Jonesville; four grandsons, Michael Ingle and wife Kelsey, Cody Ingle, Jacob Holt, and Jameson Brady Holt; and three great-grandchildren, Gavin Ingle, Macyn Ingle and Silas "Si-Fi" Ingle. Mr. Holt was predeceased by a son-in-law, John Michael Ingle. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 23, 2021 at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Eddie Saxon and Mr. Pat Littlejohn. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service. Memorial may be made to the Danny E. Holt Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home, 429 Pacolet St., Jonesville.
