Danny Earl Kingsmore

Danny Earl Kingsmore, 71, of Winnsboro passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.  Born in Union, S.C., he was the son of the late Earl and Dale Sprouse Kingsmore. Danny was a South Carolina State Trooper for 43 years. Upon retirement he enjoyed cooking for his buddies in his shop, working in his garden, posting pictures of his flowers and food on Facebook, and travelling to Alaska every summer to fish with his cousin Maxie.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley "Candy" Kingsmore; son, Travis Kingsmore of St. Matthews, SC (Stacie); daughter, Angel K. Crider of Knoxville, TN (Scott); brother, Monty Kingsmore of Union, SC (Wendi, children Emily and Ty); and three grandchildren, Jeremy Crider, Collin Crider, and Blakley Kingsmore.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 8002 Newberry Road, Winnsboro, S.C. 29180 at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the church fellowship hall.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Heartland Nursing Home and Hospice from Pro Medica.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Danny's memory to Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 8002 Newberry Road, Winnsboro, S.C.
