b. November 3, 1954

Mr. Danny Eugene Malone, age 61, loving husband of Terri Stokes Malone of 111 Churchill St., Union, joined his heavenly Father on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Union Medical Center. Mr. Malone was born, November 3, 1954 a son of the late Vesta Malone Boyter. Growing up in the Whitmire community, Danny was a kind man with a heart full of love for his family. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Danny loved his Lord and served him graciously. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and was long-time employee of Cone Mill, Carlisle Plant. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Michael Steven Malone and friend Eleni of Whitmire; two stepsons, Joseph Chastain of Union and Lee Chastain and wife Mandy of Moore; two sisters, Carolyn Boland and husband Albert of Little Mountain and Donna Malone Bunch of Arizona; a brother, Bill Boyter and wife Susan of Clinton; grandchildren, Brittneigh, Jameson, Daisy, Tyler, Jonathan, Drew and Christian; his mother-in-law, Betty Stokes of Union; brothers-in-law, Tommy Stokes and wife Robin of Newberry and Chris Stokes and friend Pam Welch of Carlisle; aunts, Joy Malone-Ridlehuber and husband Mark and Dorothy Bunch and husband David; special friend, Donald Boulware of Whitmire; his beloved pet dog, Brody and numerous nieces and nephews. Danny was predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Curt Malone. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Bethesda Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Kenny Weaver and Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Burial will be at Kelly Chapel Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tommy Stokes, Donnie Warren, Jameson Chastain, Zack Stokes, Stacy Boland, Kevin Knight and Chris Spells. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 111 Churchill St., Union, SC.
