Danny Ray Malpass

September 23, 2015 Mr. Danny Ray Malpass, age 59, husband of Sherree Parkins Malpass of 158 Haney Rd., Buffalo, passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Mr. Malpass was born in Union, SC January 6, 1956, a son of Charles L. Malpass of the home and the late Bebe Lawson Malpass. He was formerly employed with Contec in Spartanburg and was previously employed with Cone Mill- Carlisle Finishing Plant. Mr. Malpass was a member of Putman Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher, Director of Sunday School Department and a former member of the choir. Mr. Malpass was a Christian man who was devoted to his family and church. He was an avid Gamecock Fan. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Roxanne Parham and husband Rick; two sons: Corey L. Malpass and wife Crystal and Cody L. Malpass and wife Kimberly; two brothers: Donnie Mac Malpass and Ricky Malpass and five grandchildren: Destiny Lee, Kaden Malpass, Lexi Puckett, Emma Grace Puckett and Tristian Malpass. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2015 at Putman Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Rick Henderson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Randy Wheatly, Ralph Childers, Harold Gregory, Gerald Graham, Bobby Boulware, Rodney Solesby, Rufus Stewart, Richard Moore and Eddie Mims. Visitation will be held 1:30-3:00 PM in the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Putman Baptist Church, 3692 Buffalo West Spring Hwy, Buffalo, SC 29321.
