Danny Lee Peterson

March 23, 2017 Mr. Danny Lee Peterson, age 44, widower of Jessie Hand Peterson, of 1591 Mt. Tabor Church Rd., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home. Mr. Peterson was born in Kings Mt., NC, March 13, 1973, a son of Evelyn Peterson and the late Harvey Lee Peterson. He was retired from Footstar in Gaffney and was a self-employed taxidermist. Mr. Peterson was a loving and devoted son, father and grandfather. Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters, Ashley Danielle Cool and husband Jeremy of Union and Brittany Nicole Peterson of Greenwood; a son, Hunter Issacs Lee Peterson of the home; a special friend; Frankie Campbell of the home; a sister, Jonnie Peterson; a brother, Timothy Peterson both of Blackburn; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Peterson Davis of Shelby, NC; a great-grandson, Jackson Leeharvey "J.C." Cool of Union and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Sam Baines. Burial will be at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
