Darran Lee Ward

Mr. Darran Lee Ward, age 63, formerly of Union, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Trident Medical Center in N. Charleston.

Mr. Ward was born in Union, July 30, 1962, a son of Sadie Wix Ward Wilson of Union and the late James W. Ward, Jr. He was formerly employed with Union Services and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his step-father, Wade Wilson; a brother, Lorne Ward of Union; a sister, Crystal Boyd of Cleveland, SC; a step-sister, Tammy West of Union and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Vince Allen Ward.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Truitt. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.
