Darrell Gene Birch

Mr. Darrell Gene Birch, age 69, of 131 Dana Tara Lane, Buffalo, SC 29321, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Birch was born July 19, 1955 in Union, a son of Marion Olson Birch and the late Harold Dean Birch.  He was a graduate of Union High School, Limestone College, and Spartanburg Technical College.  Mr. Birch was employed with Union County Disability and Special Needs as a Caretaker.  He attended Faith Community Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother are three children, Keitha B. Ashby of Greer, Wesley Birch and wife Jenny of Indiana, and Todd Birch of Spartanburg; a sister, Louann B. McAbee and husband Donnie of Union; a brother, Ronald D. Birch of Buffalo; and four grandchildren, Jadyn Mayfield, Noah Birch, Aaron Birch, and Taylor Birch.  He was predeceased by a sister, Rhonda Birch.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Faith Community Church conducted by Pastor Steven McAbee.

Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the church.
