Daryl Eugene Atkins

Mr. Daryl Eugene Atkins, 67, of 297 Crenshaw Rd., Cowpens, passed away, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Atkins was born September 5, 1957, in Spartanburg, a son of the late Paul Donald Atkins and Mary Helen Wood Atkins.  He retired from the textile industry.

Surviving is a daughter, Mary Jane Kirby of Pacolet; a sister, Linda Gail Lyda of Cowpens; and two grandchildren, Valerie Kirby of Pacolet and Josh Kirby and wife Keinsleigh of Spartanburg.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Paul Donald Atkins, Jr., John Edward Atkins, and Roger Dean Atkins.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 12, 2025, conducted by Minister Christanna McKissick, at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville, SC 29353.   The family will receive friends immediately following the services.
