David Allan Smith

Mr. David Allan Smith, age 75, husband of Sandra Cooke Smith, of 1517 Peach Orchard Rd., Union, passed away, Friday, March 5, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Smith was born October 16, 1945 in Thomasville, NC, a son of the late Avery Smith and Faye Crocker Smith.  He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  Mr. Smith was retired from K&W Cafeterias.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Aaron Smith and wife Wendy and Tracy Smith and wife Amy all of Lexington, NC and several grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son, Chris Smith and a special daughter, Candy Caviness.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Ricky Cook.

Visitation will be held immediately following the memorial services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel.
