David Keith Gallman

April 11, 2020 Mr. David Keith Gallman, age 86, formerly of Union, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Mr. Gallman was born in Union, August 7, 1933, a son of the late James Fred Gallman, Sr. and Lockie Rector Gallman. He was a graduate of Union High School, attended the Citadel and graduated from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Gallman retired from the S.C. Department of Correction. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he is survived by two sons, Christian Gallman and wife Mandy with whom he made his home in Orangeburg and John Claude Gallman and wife Jessica of Branford, FL; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Gallman; his longtime companion and special friend, Jerri Sanders of Jonesville; seven grandchildren, Beth Butler and husband Brett, Christian Kyle Gallman and wife Jordan, Ashley Hawkins and husband Wade, Charlie Gallman, Gage Gallman, Madison Gallman and Heather Gallman and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Gallman was predeceased by a son, James Fred Gallman. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
