David Ross Lovings

Mr. David Ross Lovings, age 53, husband of Kyong Song Lovings of 4506 Southwest Malcom Rd., Lawton, OK, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lovings was born in Union, SC September 7, 1960, a son of the late William E. Lovings and Estelle Parham Lovings. He was a gradute of Union High School and retired from the US Army after twenty three years of service. Mr. Lovings also retired from the Battelle Industries. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Emily Lovings of Lawton, OK and Michelle Rodriguez and husband Alex of Germany; a son, Mark Rabah of Lawton, OK; four grandchildren: Amaya Rodriguez, Kayla Rodriguez, Aaliyah Rodriguez and Vincent Rabah; three sisters: Ann Hall of IL, Brenda Lovings Stone of Union and Gwen Lovings of Henderson, KY and a brother, William Lovings of Panama City, FL. Mr. Lovings was predeceased by three brothers, Roger Lovings, Bruce Lovings and Ken Lovings. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 10, 2014 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to David R. Lovings Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of his niece and sister, Beth Bailey and Brenda Stone, 104 Partridge Rd., Union.
