David Ronald "Ronnie" Vinson

Mr. David Ronald "Ronnie" Vinson, age 73, of 307 Hart St., Union, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Vinson was born in Union, May 8, 1947, a son of the late David D. Vinson and Ferol Ruth Fowler Vinson. He was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Milliken and Co. after 45 years as a truck driver. Mr. Vinson was a veteran of the S.C. Army National Guard having retired after 30 years of service.

He is survived by two sons, Russell Vinson and wife Reba of Jonesville and Patrick Vinson of Union; the mother of his children, Kay Vinson of Union; and two aunts, Mary Kate Bobo of Laurens and Marlene Proctor of Union. He was predeceased by an aunt, Dorothy Fowler and uncle James "Lefty" Fowler.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2021 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Dale Welch. Burial with Military Honors will be held at Rosemont Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Ricky Black, Eddie Harris, Jeff Bailey, Robbie Hines, Smitty Smith and Randall Wright.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00PM Friday at the chapel prior to the services.
