Dawn Fleming Harrison

Mrs. Dawn Fleming Harrison, age 61, wife of Tony Harrison of 7360 S. Pine St., Pacolet, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Harrison was born in Spartanburg Co., May 30, 1963, a daughter of the late William Burl Fleming and Billie Ann Lee Fleming. She was a 1981 graduate of Broome High School and had retired from Belk Distribution. Mrs. Harrison had previously worked at Progress Lighting and Disney Distribution. She was a lifelong faithful member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. She loved shopping trips, decorating and working in her flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, "MeMaw" and friend and was known to many as "Delta Dawn".

Surviving in addition to her husband of 28 years, Tony are a son, Nate Thalassenos and wife Jessica of Hendersonville, TN; a stepdaughter, Ashley Harrison of Pacolet; and grandchildren, Phoenix Thalassenos, Karsyn Thalassenos and Maddox Thalassenos. She was predeceased by a son, Dustin Harrison.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Frank Taylor and Rev. Norman Band. Burial will follow at Pacolet Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12:15PM Wednesday at the church prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Phoenix Thalassenos, Frona Taylor, Ronnie Hodge, Eric Tate, Jeff Harrison and Bobby Gosnell.

The family will be at the home, 7360 S. Pine St., Pacolet, SC, 29372.
