Debbie P. Rector

Mrs. Debbie Rene' Pendleton Rector, age 68, wife of Tommy Rector of 204 Will Palmer Rd., Union, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Rector was born in San Antonio, TX, February 26, 1955, a daughter of the late Hal Waldo Pendleton and Mildred McCarley Pendleton. She was a 1973 graduate of Union High School and was retired from the SC Dept. of Social Services, Union Co. She had previously worked at Conso Products and Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing. Mrs. Rector was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Suzy Lawson Garner and husband Michael of Union, and Andrea Morris of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Sherrie P. Callahan and husband Mike of Union; four grandchildren, Hayden and Houston Garner and Gracey and Presley Morris; and several nieces and nephews including, Katy Henderson (Anthony), Mikey Callahan (Lea), Reese Pendleton, Bethany Howell (Kole), Leah Kravats (Shawn) and Ethan Pendleton (Hannah). She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Kolton and Kallen Howell, Clarke Callahan and her pride and joy, Sarah Hope Henderson. Mrs. Rector was predeceased by a brother, Rev. Ricky Pendleton.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to the staff and nurses of Agape Hospice, the staff and therapist at Heartland/ProMedica and to Katy Henderson for their care, love and support shown to Debbie and her family for the past few years.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Robbie Stollger.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church prior to the services.
