Deborah Gatliff La Palme

Mrs. Deborah Gatliff La Palme, age 69 of 418 Prospect Corner Rd., Union, widow of Gary La Palme, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. La Palme was born in Union, November 7, 1954, a daughter of the late Herbert Eugene Gatliff and Virginia Rogers Gatliff. She was a graduate of W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, TX and had retired after 24 years with Sonoco Products of Union. Mrs. La Palme was a member of Padgett's Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Stepheny Gatliff Estes and husband Jimmy of the home; a son, Steven Gatliff of Jonesville; four grandchildren, Kayla Fowler and husband Rogers, Stone Gatliff, Blain Estes and Ansleigh Estes and three great-grandchildren, Nolan Fowler, Memphis Fowler, and Reese Gatliff. She was predeceased by her lifelong closest friend, Kathy Bryson.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Shep Bevis. The family will receive friends at the chapel immediately following the services.

The family will be at the home, 418 Prospect Corner Rd., Union.
