Deborah Lynn Morris

Ms. Deborah Lynn Morris, age 65, of 220 Boyd St., Union, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her home.

Ms. Morris was born in Union, February 26, 1956, a daughter of the late James R. and Stella Gregory Morris. She was a 1974 graduate of Union High School and was employed with the Union County Detention Center having recently made Sargent. Ms. Morris was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son, Zachary Morris of the home; two brothers, Steve Morris and wife Cheryl and Kenny Morris all of Union; a niece, Bailey Morris; a nephew, Patrick Morris; and three great-nieces, Julian Morris, Kendall Knight, and Lila Williams. Ms. Morris was predeceased by a nephew, Brad Morris.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robert Scott. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
