Debra Adams “Debbie” Conard

Mrs. Debra Adams "Debbie" Conard, age 61, wife of Joel Conard of 904 Canal Rd., Lockhart, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Conard was born June 6, 1955 in Flint, MI a daughter of the late William Douglas "Billy" Adams and Edna Myrtle Ham Adams. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and USC Upstate where she received her bachelor of science in nursing. Mrs. Conard was the Day Care Director for Mt. View Nursing Home in Spartanburg. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Brad Conard and wife Michelle of Lockhart; one daughter, Ashley Heatherly of the home; one brother Donnie Adams of Lockhart; two grandchildren, Madyson Conard and Cameron Heatherly. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2017 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Sam Baines and Rev. Dudley Thomas. Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Michael Adams, Matthew Adams, Gary Ham, Darryl Sumner, Mitch Heatherly, and Jerome Means. The staff and nurses of Hospice Care of South Carolina are asked to sit in a group. Visitation will be held 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church.
