Dennis Ray Longshore

Mr. Dennis Ray Longshore, age 68 of Inman, passed away at his home August 14, 2017. Mr. Longshore was born in Union, October 24 1948 a son of Mabel Bailey Longshore Campbell of Union and the late Floyd Longshore. He graduated from Union High School and attended USC-Spartanburg. Mr. Longshore was retired from Daniel Construction and was an avid musician and animal lover who enjoyed volunteering his time to many charities. Surviving in addition to his mother are two aunts, Ann Sanders and husband J.B. of Union and Dolly Leitner of Winnsboro and numerous cousins. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Tommy Vaughn. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the services. Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Human Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to the Union Co. Humane Society, 218 N. Pinckney St., Union, SC 29379 or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will be at the home of his aunt, Ann and J.B. Sanders, 468 Beatty's Bridge Rd., Union.
